In a not-so-shocking twist, this Norwegian soccer star decided to trade in his Viking threads for some cowboy chic after a few weeks in the U.S. for the FIFA World Cup. Seriously, Texas vibes are real. Reportedly, he dropped a jaw-dropping $10K at some fancy western store in Dallas—because, you know, that’s just how he rolls.

Sources close to the whole scene (the ones that always see everything) say he and a couple of teammates went on a little shopping spree. It lasted a whole hour and a half, which is apparently a lifetime when picking a cowboy hat. Haaland treated himself to fancy felt hats, boots, and shirts that practically scream ‘I’m ready for the rodeo, y’all.’

But hold up—his most impressive purchase? A taxidermy raccoon holding a liquor bottle. That masterpiece set him back $750. So refined. And let’s not forget the two squirrels he picked up, one donning a sheriff hat and the other casually sipping a Budweiser, each priced at $450. Because nothing says world-class athlete like a booze-drinking squirrel, right?

That total of $10K makes sense when you’re one of the highest-paid soccer stars worldwide. Sure, he left the tournament empty-handed after a quarterfinal exit, but at least he’s bringing home some distinctive trophies to remember his time in the States. Real classy, champ.
