Apparently, this whole charade is to support her husband, who’s relocated to New York for his oh-so-important entrepreneurial ventures. Yawn.

This saga kicked off when her husband, Max Fredrik Darnton, suddenly decided New York was the place to be (because who wouldn’t want to live in a city that smells like ambition and pretension?). He’s been touting his “exciting new chapters” on LinkedIn—because nothing screams excitement like moving into a mansion, right?

Binky, being the supportive wife she is, took her two kids and her allegedly chaotic life along for the ride, leaving behind her renovated £3.6 million London home like it was last week’s leftovers. On Instagram (where else?), she’s been sharing snippets of her very busy move, including a dramatic collapse on a mountain of boxes that looked way more fun than her new mansion.

And, of course, she mentioned arriving to find Max all set up with a barbecue and a glass of her favorite champagne (because that’s how you really show you care). As for the kids? They apparently couldn’t wait to take over the mansion-sized backyard. Sounds like a wild time, right? Anyway, good for them, I guess. Moving houses is the new thing, apparently.
