Well, darling, it appears our favorite chaos agent, Conor McGregor, is still allegedly living his best life despite that minor setback at UFC 329 (you know, the one that left him hobbling). This time, he toasted his 38th birthday with his ever-patient wife in what can only be described as a delightfully low-key affair on their patio. How quaint, right?
In a birthday clip that practically screamed, 'Look at me!', McGregor promoted his own Mac Energy drink instead of indulging in a good ol’ bottle of bubbly. Apparently, who needs champagne when you can push your own product? Classic marketing 101!
The Notorious fighter seemed to be in high spirits (insert eye roll here) as he raved about the drink’s flavor while strategically positioning a crutch at his feet. Truly, who knew crutches could be so on-brand? "We’ll be back, we’ll be back," he declared, followed by an uncomfortably long moment of prayer with a rosary. Is this what we call dedicated multitasking, Conor?
Let’s not ignore the elephant in the room—he's been on a quest for spiritual enlightenment since that loss to Max Holloway, and, reportedly, he's attempting to cut back on the booze. That's right, opting for an energy drink over his beloved Proper No. 12 whiskey. Irony? Yes, please!
Even his birthday got a shoutout from some big names, including Jon Jones, who played the supportive friend, and, naturally, Jake Paul, who dropped a sweet “happy birthday cutie pie 🤍” because why not keep it cute?
Cheers to treading that fine line of a comeback, Conor! Let’s see if this energy drink can really power you back into the Octagon.
