The Espys Happened and We’re Still Pretending to Care About Sports Fashion (Yawn)

The ESPYs rolled around. As if we had something better to do. Athletes attempting fashion? Always a spectacle. One gymnastic queen turned heads in a champagne gown that had everyone wondering, where's the champagne? She strutted into the David H. Koch Theater like she had more important places to be. You guessed it—Simone Biles.
Then there’s Ilona Maher, who effortlessly showed NYC how to wear white without resembling a wedding cake. Fierce in her strapless dress, she had jaws dropping faster than my interest in sports. Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns cozied up to Jordyn Woods like they were posing for a family photo. A bit too close, but who am I to judge?
Kevin Hart also made an appearance, and honestly, good for him. Marcello Hernández hosted like he was already over it, but you know he’ll slay the stage anyway.
