Mel C’s Secret Wedding This Weekend (but Where’s Victoria?)

So, apparently Mel C is about to say 'I do' to model Chris Dingwall, in what’s being hailed as a gorgeous countryside setting. Good for her, I guess. Our fave Spice Girl, who’s somehow still rocking it at 52, has kept this engagement under wraps. Insider whispers suggest the so-called nuptials will be a Spice Girl reunion—minus that one who’s busy living it up in the States for the World Cup (hello, VB).
This wedding just so happens to align with the 30th anniversary of their iconic anthem Wannabe. A wedding party and a nostalgia trip? Why not? Mel and Chris made their romance Instagram official back in 2024 after meeting on a fancy dating app, because who doesn’t love a little irony? She also has a teenage daughter, Scarlett, from a previous relationship, so this marriage thing is a minor plot twist in her story. Mel previously had a seven-year stint with her manager, but it looks like she’s ready to throw caution to the wind.
In a recent chat, she casually mentioned, 'I didn’t think marriage was in my cards, but here we are, I guess.' And just to keep things spicy, her new album Sweat is reportedly inspired by her feelings for Chris. Classic move.
Good for Mel, but can we just take a moment to appreciate that she’s the last one making a trip to the altar? Let’s just hope the hangover from this wedding doesn’t last longer than their last reunion tour.
