Well, darling, it appears Cher Lloyd is shaking off the shackles of matrimony and strutting toward her next chapter. Yes, the former X Factor sensation has confirmed her split from her husband after 13 years. Talk about timing—the poor girl just lost her father three months ago. Yikes doesn’t even cover it.

On Monday, the pop star threw the internet into a frenzy with a cheeky snap of her ring-free hand on Instagram, leaving fans gasping for answers. One eagle-eyed follower dared to ask, ‘Where’s your wedding ring?’ and Cher, with all the sass of a queen, replied, ‘It’s in the bin.’ Ouch.

But hold on, there’s more! A friend tried to swoop in with the most cringe-worthy save-the-date reminder: ‘Whoops, my bad. Onto greater things eh lass.’ Cher responded with a laughing emoji and a heart, proving she’s ready to spill the tea and embrace what’s next.

In a mood that screams ‘I’m over this,’ she liked a string of posts about gut instincts, ugly cries, and lost love. One particularly relatable video showed someone shimmying to Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie with the caption: ‘Me after crying for two hours.’ I mean, same, Cher, same.

And just when you thought the drama couldn’t get any juicier, she shared a poignant video featuring the line: ‘I’ll buy you whatever you want,’ followed by the soul-crushing reply of ‘No you can’t.’ Brutal.

For those who don’t remember, Cher met Craig back in 2011 while he was fitting her for hair extensions—because nothing says romance like hair maintenance. They tied the knot in 2013 and share two kids, but now it seems the best part of her day is finally tossing that wedding ring into the abyss.

Let’s raise a glass (or a dry martini) to Cher and her greater things ahead, shall we?
