A certain Scottish TV personality has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Apparently, Gail Porter, 55, took a nosedive down the stairs at a London tube station last week. Spoiler alert: it did not end well. She graced Instagram with a charming snapshot of her bruised visage featuring a black eye and a cut lip. All thanks to a fellow passenger's expert shoving skills. Yikes.

In a message that we can only describe as the ultimate response to internet trolls, she wrote, "To all you wonderful keyboard warriors that said I’m looking old, and saying something was wrong with my face…" K, but ouch—seriously, are we out here critiquing faces now? The poor woman was just trying to support some friends at the opening of Trainspotting The Musical. But I guess the hustle and bustle of public transport didn’t agree with someone.

Now she’s on a crusade, preaching kindness. "Please… from the bottom of my heart… don’t ever be disrespectful to anyone for how they look or how they are," she insists. Because we all know that trolls have a sudden change of heart when faced with a heartfelt plea.

Despite rocking the black eye look, Gail seems to be in high spirits, even making an appearance at the Trainspotting press night right after her fall. A warrior indeed!
