Jerry Hall is here to remind us that aging is a suggestion, not a rule. As she gears up for her 70th birthday bash, she's clearly rejecting the notion that older women should surrender to a life of beige and cardigans. Apparently, she’s all about flaunting what you’ve got—allegedly. 'It’s fun to dress in a way that looks good on your figure,' she says, and who can argue with that? She’s a fan of Vivienne Westwood and is known to lose herself in Liberty’s—because, of course, that’s how we all shop.
But here's where it gets interesting: sunscreen? Not in her vocabulary. She’s on a less is more skincare regimen, which apparently consists of just face wash and cream. Glamorous? Sure. Smart? That’s debatable.
Her daughters are tasked with keeping her style in check, trying to navigate that precarious balance of too young and too old. Good luck with that. Still, Jerry’s strutting into her 70s with her daily vices intact, and honestly, who are we to judge?
Celebrate how you want, Jerry. You do you.
