You might want to brace yourself, because a certain former girl group star, beloved by fans and known for her emotional openness, just released a gut-wrenching trailer for her new documentary. In her Amazon Prime series titled Life Changing, she shares raw footage capturing the moment she learned about her twin daughters’ diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1. Yikes, talk about heavy.

This singer, now 35, dropped the emotional sneak peek just in time for its release on July 17. Her precious twins, Ocean and Story, are only 13 months old and are allegedly facing a tough journey ahead due to this rare muscle-wasting condition. I mean, can you even begin to imagine?

In the heartbreaking clip, she cradles her little girls as a doctor delivers the devastating news: 'The genetic testing came back positive for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.' Cue the waterworks, because she visibly breaks down, saying, 'I can't believe this is happening… I feel like I'm going to feel heartbroken for the rest of my life.' Honestly, who wouldn’t?

She goes on to reveal that her life has spiraled into a flurry of hospital visits. 'I get bombarded with hospital appointments, my whole life has changed,' she shares. And can you blame her? It's an overwhelming load for anyone.

With the trailer, she penned a poignant message encouraging everyone to tune in, stating, 'It's the most heartbreaking series I've ever had to make.' It's like she’s bravely shining a light on a topic that desperately needs awareness—even when it’s messy and tangled. Let’s hope this heartfelt effort paves the way for change and that she and her twins receive all the support they deserve.

Sending love to her and the twins during this challenging time.
