BET Awards 2026: Skin Galore and the Same Old Faces (Yawn)

Well, well, well. The BET Awards are back, and guess what? Skin is OUT and shockingly, it’s not the 90s. Our usual lineup of chaos agents—Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Teyana Taylor—are strutting like they’re in a never-ending fashion show. Who knew showing skin was still a thing? Meanwhile, the gents—Usher, Drake, and Steph Curry—are puffing out their chests as if that’s revolutionary. Sigh. Is this really what passes for entertainment? A skin gallery with a sprinkle of name recognition? Sounds thrilling. If you can muster the energy, scroll through the lineup and play ‘guess who’—as if it matters. But hey, at least it’s something to distract us from our choices, right? Cheers to that—or whatever.
