Did This Radio Presenter Just Turn a Charity Lunch Into Her Own Fashion Week? (Not Surprising)

A certain radio presenter, 48, sashayed into a London Pride lunch wearing a sheer black corset that made me question if I accidentally tuned into a fashion show instead of a charity event. She paired this not-so-subtle look with black trousers and a splash of gold Chanel jewelry, because why not throw in some overpriced bling?
Oh, and she waved a Pride rainbow flag like it was a fashion accessory. Clearly there for the cause—or maybe just the aesthetic? Celebrity pals included a certain judge rocking a cheetah print dress (because, duh, who doesn’t love a good animal print?) and another one opting for soft and sophisticated in a lilac suit. Trendy, I guess.
The lunch was hosted by a duo that includes a certain drag icon, so you already know it was meant to be fabulous. They were raising funds for charities like Switchboard and Not A Phase because, you know, even fashion shows need a backstory sometimes. And let’s not forget the return of that interactive Chosen Family Map. Apparently, it’s for those who want to dodge the chaos of the main Pride march but still vibe at Trafalgar Square for the concert. Innovative, if a bit confusing.
This year, SKITTLES magically decided to donate £100,000 to Queer Britain. Meanwhile, advocates are reminding us that the fight for rights is still very much alive, especially for trans people. But hey, at least we showed up in cute outfits, right?
