A certain comedian just decided to sacrifice sleep in the name of glory during England's epic World Cup showdown against Mexico. You know the kind of all-nighter we all fantasize about but never quite pull off? Yeah, he thought he had it all figured out, and spoiler alert: it did NOT go according to plan.
Imagine waking up and realizing you missed the first half while England was already 2-0 up—talk about a rude awakening! Our fave goofball shared a side-splitting video of his bleary-eyed self post-match, timestamped and everything. It’s peak I just love my country energy. You can practically hear the desperation in his voice as he races to kiss his TV screen like it’s his new best friend. Iconic, right?
He attempted to fuel up on yogurt and granola—because who says you can’t be fancy while living off caffeine and adrenaline? But alas, he completely zonked out before kickoff. Now, he’s declaring he’ll NEVER sleep again until England’s quarter-final match. Who even needs shut-eye when your national team is scoring left and right?
And can we please talk about Jude Bellingham, the real MVP of this World Cup saga? He’s out there scoring two goals like a total boss and even telling fans to text their bosses that they’re calling in sick. Seriously, can we get that energy tattooed on our foreheads?
This comedian is living his best life post-match, and we’re just eating it all up. Is this the dawn of a new trend in sleep-deprived World Cup madness? You know I’ll be glued to it like I’m glued to my latest Netflix obsession!
