Oh, darling, grab your tissues because Katie Price is back on our screens, and this time she’s allegedly spilling her guts on the neglect her kids faced. In a recent episode of This Morning, the self-proclaimed chaos agent, 48, let out some tearful anecdotes about how her children, Junior and Princess, had a less-than-stellar childhood. Apparently, they were left to fend for themselves while she was off living her best life (read: partying hard). Who needs an attentive mother when you can have that kind of rollercoaster childhood, right?

As the two opened up, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19, painted a picture of themselves as pint-sized parents at ages 13 and 10, taking care of their younger siblings while Katie was busy being “herself” (if “herself” means stumbling home post-bender). I mean, can you even?

Katie tearfully recounted her dramatic breakdown during the interview, claiming she had no idea how her wild ways had impacted her kids. "I thought I was aiming for the ‘perfect mum’ award while they were desperately trying to hold everything together," she lamented, as if that would magically erase years of emotional neglect.

In a moment that was so heartfelt (and scripted?), she revealed that after filming, her kids admitted they’d been in tears. Cue the martyr moment: ‘I never knew what they went through,’ she said. Because, of course, nothing says ‘mother of the year’ like being blissfully unaware of your children’s emotional turmoil during your personal crisis.

One child even mentioned contemplating ending it all, which, to be honest, hits harder than the audacity of a glittery comeback. My heart bleeds—not—for her kids, who had to navigate their formative years while Katie was busy seeking headlines and drama. Let’s just hope they find some semblance of peace while their darling mom continues her eternal quest for attention.

#FamilyGoals, indeed!
