Vick Hope Takes a Family Break from Radio 1 (Priorities, Anyone?)

Well, here we go again. Our beloved radio darling, Vick Hope, who just graced us with her return to Radio 1 after what felt like an eternity (okay, it was a year, but it was a dramatic one), is now hitting the pause button to focus on her family. Apparently, she’s chosen to spend time with her almost-one-year-old baby Micah before her husband Calvin Harris turns into a full-time Ibiza DJ over the summer. What a novel concept—prioritizing family over a microphone!
In an attempt to keep it relatable, our girl shared a photo of herself pumping breast milk at work. Because nothing says ‘I’m just like you, folks’ like mixing motherhood with a bit of radio glamour. I can just envision her whispering, 'I’ve missed the chaos of Radio 1, but family comes first,' as those studio lights flicker and the soundboard buzzes with her absence.
Vick certainly knows how to exit stage left in style. She married the international sensation Calvin last year, and they announced little Micah’s arrival with all the Instagram flair one could muster—think artfully shot birthing pool snapshots and tender moments that almost made us forget about the usual chaos of celebrity parenthood. I mean, the audacity!
As she embarks on this oh-so-important family adventure, we’ll be here, clutching our pearls, waiting to see when she’ll bless us with her presence again. Here’s to those summer cuddles, Vick. Don’t take too long; we’ll miss the chaos!
