Lil Wayne Ghosts Maine Concert (Shocking, Right?)

Last night, a certain legendary rapper decided to skip out on a concert in Maine, leaving fans hanging like a bad date. Weezy was supposed to take the stage at the Bangor waterfront alongside the one and only 2 Chainz—vibes were supposed to drop at 10:45 PM. Instead, fans were hit with the delightful news that he just wasn’t showing up. Rude much?
Naturally, the internet exploded with disappointment, but let’s be real, when has this guy ever been consistent? Just last August, he pulled a similar disappearing act in Toronto, leaving a crowd full of eager fans feeling some type of way. And who could forget that time he literally walked off the stage in Los Angeles in 2023? It’s like he’s auditioning for a role in a drama series about flaky artists.
He’s got another gig in New York tomorrow, and good luck to those ticket holders. They might need it. His team hasn’t chimed in yet, which is pretty much standard operating procedure at this point. Meanwhile, I’ll just be here sipping my iced black coffee and watching this train wreck unfold.
