A certain pop star who’s no stranger to attention-grabbing outfits graced Denmark's Roskilde Festival in a deliciously pink embellished bustier. Yes, you guessed it—Lily Allen pulled off a performance of West End Girl and later slid into a metallic gold minidress like she was just switching from one grocery aisle to another. No big deal, right?
But wait, there’s more. Apparently, fans are throwing a fit over the ticket prices, claiming they’re ‘too expensive’ for a show that lasts around 50 minutes. Can you believe it? Up to £86 for a quick romp without even a warm-up act. One poor soul tweeted their outrage: ‘Lily Allen at the O2. No support act. Arrived on stage at 9:10 pm. Wrapped it up by 10 pm. Not one word to the audience.’ Savage.
Well, our favorite whirlwind of chaos wasn’t just going to take that sitting down. She took to social media to hit back, explaining, ‘There is a support act. The show has always been advertised as “Lily Allen performs West End Girl.” I was a few minutes late because, get this, my tights were laddered and I had to change them. The show is just over an hour as it’s just the album in its entirety.’
And there you have it, folks. Get your money’s worth or whatever. Because who doesn’t love a sprinkle of wardrobe malfunction drama with their live music?
