Duffy’s back, folks. Allegedly after some dramatic exit that nobody noticed—because, let’s be real, who even remembered she was gone? This Grammy winner decided to grace us with her presence at Hoxton Hall in East London for her first live show in 15 years. An hour-long performance—let that sink in. A long stretch for someone who ghosted us around 2011.

She reportedly had a crowd that included fabulously dressed drag queens—because, of course. Afterward, they apparently hit up some after-party at Queen of Hoxton, where pizza was, shocker, involved. Duffy got her groove on and even belted out her hit “Mercy” with a few other partygoers until a whopping 2:30 AM. Good for her, right? Past bedtime and all.

But hold onto your hats, folks. She’s also toying with music again—yes, the elusive album might be on the horizon. A few weeks back, she teased us on Instagram about being back in the studio, saying something vague about missing us. Classic comeback behavior. Let’s not forget the reason for her long absence. In 2020, she opened up about some serious trauma involving being raped, drugged, and held captive. A solid reason to go MIA, I guess.

Anyways, glad to see Duffy’s working on that comeback. Who doesn’t love a redemption arc? Allegedly.
