Jay-Z's Yankee Stadium Concert Turns Into a Total Chaos Fest (and Fans Are Just Over It)

Here we go again. Jay-Z’s concert at Yankee Stadium was less of a concert and more of a prolonged episode of Waiting for Godot. Apparently, some fans—bless their overzealous souls—attempted to storm a security checkpoint like it was the hottest Black Friday sale of the year. Talk about commitment! Reports from sources close to the chaos (read: stadium staff) reveal that the show didn’t even start until after midnight. Thousands of fans were left standing around, probably debating whether they should start a book club or take up knitting. Who doesn’t love a good line dance while waiting hours for a show? Social media was flooded with clips of a massive crowd just... waiting. This is what we get for showing up on time, folks.
