A certain rapper was supposed to light up Las Vegas on Sunday night. Instead, he yanked his plans like a bad Tinder date and jetted over to New York City. What for? Just a little surprise moment with Jay-Z at Yankee Stadium, no biggie.
Our favorite Atlanta ice-cream cone (who definitely has some chaotic energy) pulled the plug on his residency gig at PH Live inside Planet Hollywood. Fans in Vegas were left scratching their heads, only to get their answer when he popped up onstage with Jay-Z, sending the Bronx crowd into a frenzy with bangers like Seen It All and Go Crazy. Classic Jeezy, am I right?
Oh, and can we discuss the grand finale? It was like a celebrity buffet with Beyoncé, Rihanna, Pharrell, Usher, and a parade of R&B and hip-hop royalty crashing the party. Security issues tried to delay the concert, but once Jay-Z grabbed the mic, it turned into a marathon of hits and surprises.
