In a shocking turn of events, Jay-Z decided to allegedly go all out during night three of his Yankee Stadium escapades. Apparently, he summoned the dream team of Rihanna and Beyoncé to take the stage, and sure, fans freaked out (as they should). Videos of the mayhem are flooding social media, and honestly, trying to muster shock is exhausting.
If you missed it, Rihanna lit the place up with "Run This Town," followed by Beyoncé, who served a masterclass in "Drunk In Love"—you know, just your average night out. They both looked incredible—Beyoncé sparkling in her Yankee-themed outfit while Rihanna stunned in leather that probably cost more than most people’s rent.
But let’s circle back to the tiny detail of the hours-long delay that kicked off the show. Jay-Z, in an attempt to be mysterious, attributed it to a 'security concern'. But please, no one’s bothered when you’ve got two queens on stage. Once the show finally started, you could practically feel the crowd's Empire State of Mind vibe just radiating off them.
Amazing how we’re still pretending to be surprised by this kind of drama. Anyway, good for them.
