Buckle up, darling, because we might be witnessing the end of Celebrity Big Brother as we know it! ITV is reportedly ready to give our beloved reality show the ax, and the tea is hotter than a summer runway. Just when you thought it was safe to pull out your sequins, this mess is allegedly getting shelved for good. Daily Mail reports that there were big plans to keep the CBB chaos alive until 2026, only to reboot it on ITV2 in 2027. But now? It seems like the lights might just flicker out for good.

Why this sudden shift, you ask? Apparently, our fave celebs are too busy chasing the glitz of that other reality gem, Celebrity Traitors. Like, can you even? Insiders claim that the talent pool is drying up faster than an out-of-style blowout, with stars scrambling to get their moment on the Traitors stage instead.

An inside source reportedly spilled the tea, revealing that ITV is in a serious diva dilemma. Even heavyweights from other shows like Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity are feeling the pressure. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the chaos? ITV bosses are sweating bullets trying to book stars for two separate shows, including the much-anticipated I’m A Celebrity spin-off, The Wild Frontier. Both of these are supposed to drop around the same time they hoped to introduce CBB 2027. Talk about scheduling bedlam!

Just when you thought it couldn't get any juicier, a spokesperson for ITV kept us all guessing, saying, 'Big Brother returns to ITVX and ITV2 later this year. No decisions have been made for 2027 as yet.' Mystery? Oh, they love to keep us on the edge of our seats! Will the Big Brother lights fade into the twilight? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: we’ll be watching this drama unfold with our judging eyes wide open!
