Well, look at this shocking twist: a certain cooking duo just got hit with another alleged career setback. Their beloved ITV show, Weekend Kitchen, is reportedly getting the chop after a decade of Sunday morning delights. Yep, after ten seasons, it’s nowhere to be found on ITV’s schedule this year. Apparently, budget cuts are the new trend, and who knew those would affect our dinner plans?

Just days before this delightful news broke, one half of our pair bravely opened up about tackling the early stages of breast cancer. Seriously, can we send her some good vibes? Meanwhile, the other half is still dealing with the fallout from that extremely offensive incident over on MasterChef—he claims he remembers nothing, but we know how that goes.

So, what’s next? Insiders whisper that while there’s no current plan for another season of Weekend Kitchen, there’s still a glimmer of hope for a future comeback. Because why not? The guy’s still whipping up culinary masterpieces on This Morning, and apparently, he’s got support from the likes of Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. Great, but not exactly a lifeline right now.

Honestly, all we can do is cross our fingers for these two; but at this point, it’s all about that alleged silver lining. ITV hasn’t made any major announcements yet, but you know we’ll be stalking the news. Stay tuned, or whatever.
