Well, if this isn’t a case of too little, too late. The long-standing auctioneer from that reality show about hoarding treasures is suddenly feeling the weight of regret after the tragic passing of a former co-star. It seems the star in question, who was found dead in his Arizona home earlier this year, allegedly took his own life, leaving our auctioneer wrestling with guilt over their surprisingly distant friendship. How convenient.

Sources say our auctioneer, who has been gracing our screens for all 15 seasons, recently confessed to a gossip outlet that he wishes he had been a better friend. Newsflash, darling: where were you all those seasons? He lamented, "Maybe if I’d been a better friend, I could’ve helped him. Seems he was going through a lot we didn’t know about." Ugh, the audacity of the epiphany hitting now.

In a delightful twist of irony, our messy auctioneer and his equally notable wife, who also hawks random junk on the show, were reportedly devastated by the news. They even showed up to the celebration of life, shocked to find a gathering of former castmates from their vintage reality series. Apparently, it turned into a reunion no one signed up for. Honestly, when the police arrived, they must have rolled their eyes — classic reality show drama.

If you or someone you know needs help, don’t wait for reality TV to illustrate the importance of reaching out. Talk to someone, darling — it’s not just a plot point.
