Swoon with me, besties. A certain icon just glided out of SiriusXM Studios, looking like an ethereal goddess in a green maxi dress that practically screamed, ‘I'm a star!’ Yes, we’re talking about the chaos agent herself, Anya Taylor-Joy, who’s out here pushing her new thriller series, Lucky. And get this—she's not just starring; she’s co-producing this venture with none other than the golden girl of Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon! Talk about a power duo that could shake up the industry.

Picture it: this mesmerizing creature chatting it up with gossip king Andy Cohen in her stunning green frock with a white lace neckline, strappy white heels, and silver jewelry that likely had the paparazzi losing their minds. Seriously, if you don’t believe me, just scroll through the endless stream of photos.

But wait! Buckle up, because the reviews are rolling in, and spoiler alert—they're about as mixed as my feelings about pineapple on pizza. Some critics are dragging it through the mud, calling it ‘tediously formulaic’ (yikes) and claiming even Anya’s undeniable talent can’t save it. The Daily Telegraph slashed it with a pitiful two stars, lamenting that her ‘streak of good fortune has run out’! GASP Is this beautiful creature not capable of carrying a series on her own? Was all that Hollywood magic just a mirage?

The series follows Anya as Luciana 'Lucky' Armstrong, a con artist ON THE RUN after a heist goes south—classic! She’s being chased by both the FBI and a crime boss played by the fabulous Annette Bening (who doesn’t love a messy chase?). With two episodes already dropped, fans are quick to decide whether this one’s a must-watch or just another blip on Anya’s otherwise stellar career. But if critics don’t see her as a riveting lead, what does that spell for her future projects?

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to watch this unfold. Will Anya triumph or face the ultimate downfall? You know I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for the next chapter in this unfolding saga.
