Ed Harris is *Not* Happy with 'Dutton Ranch' Producers (and Who Can Blame Him?)

Well, here’s a surprise: Ed Harris isn’t exactly thrilled about his time on Dutton Ranch. According to reports, he was ready to walk off the set halfway through filming. During a very low-key chat with Variety at some Apple TV premiere (because of course), Ed aired his grievances about a particular scene that went poof.
Picture this: Ed’s character, Everett McKinney, is at the bar, having a moment with the infamous Beth Dutton. Suddenly, Rip Wheeler swoops in and tells him to sing. Sounds entertaining, right? Wrong. The director decides to scrap the whole thing, leaving Ed simmering. Our guy reportedly told the producers, "I’m going, 'f*** you, people.'" I mean, can you blame him?
They justified their decision by saying the scene didn’t fit the episode's dark vibe. Apparently, pacing isn’t in their vocabulary. Ed was sold on being a major player in Season 1, but spoiler alert: that didn’t happen. Now he’s just “a little frustrated” with the whole ordeal. Talk about an underwhelming role.
Producers dangle the promise of more action in Season 2 like it’s a carrot on a stick, but honestly, who needs that kind of hassle? It’s just another day in the wild world of entertainment, folks.
