Remember when Johnny Depp was the Sexiest Man Alive? Yeah, well, good times. Fast forward to Comic-Con, and he’s now unrecognizable in a getup that can only be described as grouchy holiday chic. The man who used to charm us all traded his swagger for a long blue overcoat and a top hat that screamed, 'Let me be miserable in peace.' Apparently, he was there to promote Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, set to grace theaters on November 13.
Imagine a festive storefront in the Gaslamp district, complete with fake snow that somehow feels more depressing than magical. A crowd gathered, likely expecting classic Depp antics, but instead, they got Scrooge throwing around grumpy one-liners. At one point, he looked at a fan and flatly asked, 'What’s so good about it?' You know, the usual holiday spirit.
As he huffed around, the crowd seemed to cheer him on. I guess some people still have a soft spot for him amidst all the well drama. He did flash a brief smirk, but honestly, it felt like a cameo in his own life before disappearing back into his little Christmas cave. Just another day in the chaotic existence of an A-lister. Good for him, I suppose.
