Well, here’s a twist you didn’t see coming. Ringo Starr is apparently showering Barry Keoghan with compliments, claiming he’s in good hands for an upcoming Beatles biopic. Did anyone ask for this? At his annual ‘Peace & Love’ birthday bash (yes, the man turned 86 and still wants us to buy the whole peace thing), Ringo casually dropped this bomb while being pursued by paparazzi. And trust, he didn’t hold back.
Apparently, the Oscar nominee made a house call to Ringo’s pad for a little chit-chat. Sounds pretty chill, right? Just hanging out with one of the biggest legends ever, like it’s no big deal. When asked if Barry’s gonna crush it as him, Ringo didn’t even blink—he’s totally confident. Mmm-hmm, sure.
And here’s the kicker: this four-part saga, directed by Sam Mendes, won’t even see the light of day until April 2028. Talk about the long game, folks. We’ve also got Harris Dickinson lined up as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. No pressure there, right? Let’s hope Barry took good notes during their little hangout.
So, happy birthday, Ringo! May your peace and love shine bright amid this alleged Hollywood madness.
