So, Armie Hammer is apparently not vibing with his much-buzzed-about flick Citizen Vigilante. That’s an understatement. This movie has been through the wringer since a pile of sexual assault allegations derailed his career, but now he’s back, and boy, he seems to regret it. Who could’ve seen that coming?

Directed by the German auteur of questionable taste, Uwe Boll—who might as well wear a sign that says I make bad movies—Citizen Vigilante has ruffled feathers with its anti-immigration and anti-Muslim themes. It was even banned in Germany, which is basically the cinematic equivalent of a ‘do not enter’ sign. Yet somehow, this catastrophe climbed the streaming charts after that guy with the wild tweets decided to share it on X. Truly wild times.

According to a source (cue the dramatic music), Armie allegedly shed some tears after watching his own cinematic disaster for the first time. He reportedly called it “hateful” and “disgusting.” You’d think he’d know that going in since he was, you know, in the thing. But here we are. Shocking, right? He apparently lost it, lamenting, “That was not the movie I thought we made,” or whatever.
