Hollywood decided to throw a tropical party for the Moana premiere, courtesy of our favorite chaos agent, Dwayne The Rock Johnson. He took center stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, showcasing some alleged dance moves in a traditional Polynesian outfit. Groundbreaking, right?
Now, let’s dissect this Lavalava. It was woven in beige and red, featuring a very ornate black, white, and maroon fringe. Because, of course, he didn't stop there. He accessorized with a leafy neck wreath, black and gold Lafo Anklets, and a headpiece draped in red and white feathers. Someone give this man a fashion award—or, you know, a snack.
The live-action Moana hits theaters on July 10, in case you’re into that sort of thing. But honestly, all this hoopla just to remind us that You're Welcome! to the media coverage.
